not to long ago i fell in love
he made breathing less painful
love became a part of my life
and smiling became a habit
when he said those three words
i soared beyond belief
then he took them away
all of those three words and their meaning
and i began to fall
im still falling
and he wont ever be there to catch me
my heart is now black
the tears now waterfalls
the blood now flowing from me like a river
and all i can think about is him
the one i love
the one who doesnt love me
has someone new
someone prettier
someone more loveable
someone who isnt me
he has no idea how much i need him
how much hate has now consumed me
how the habit of smiling is no more
replaced by a blank expression
with eyes as empty as space
filled with lonliness and pain
i need him
